AkkoLens is a medical technology company at the forefront of vision restoration. Our flagship product, the Lumina IOL, is the world's first truly accommodating intraocular lens. As we scale, we're looking for an IT Administrator who wants more than a helpdesk job: someone ready to take real ownership of our IT landscape and grow with us.
Your role
You'll be the backbone of AkkoLens's IT operations: the person who keeps our networks, servers, and systems running smoothly and who's trusted to make them better. You'll work closely with colleagues across the company, from production to sales, solving problems fast and shaping how we use technology as we grow internationally. It's a role with real autonomy you decide how things get built, secured, and improved.
- Take full ownership of our local IT infrastructure, networks, and servers
- Spot issues before they become problems and resolve hardware and software issues quickly when they do arise
- Install and configure network routing, hardware and software
- Keep our email servers, firewalls, and network security airtight
- Safeguard our data with solid backup and recovery routines
- Drive digitalisation projects that make the whole company work smarter
- Be the trusted go-to person colleagues turn to with any IT question
What you bring
- Completed IT training or a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience with MS SharePoint, networking, databases and cybersecurity
- A knack for designing and developing databases
- Experience managing ERP and DMS systems
- A structured, process-oriented way of working
- A hands-on mentality: reliable, solution-oriented, and independent
- Very good German and good English
